The housebuilder behind a 133-home development in Kinghorn has donated furniture used in Show Homes to a local women’s charity which helps those suffering domestic abuse.
Lovell Homes has donated furniture from Show Homes at their Lochside Grange development to Fife Women’s Aid who will use it to improve emergency accommodation for those fleeing domestic abuse.
Furniture donated includes sofas, tables and chairs along with items such as vases, curtains and window blinds.
Lochside Grange contains a total of 133 properties with a mix of 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom houses with the development now sold out.
Kevin McColgan, Scotland Regional Managing Director for Lovell Homes, said:
“I am pleased the furniture from our Show Homes in Kinghorn can be used to help women in the local area facing fleeing domestic abuse. It is important that we always try and give back to the local community wherever possible.”
“We will be seeking to do something similar our other sites in Scotland under construction at Hogganfield near Glasgow, Telburn Way in Bannockburn and Cearon Gate in Falkirk.”
